Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By adding, accessing, or interacting with Sentinel (the "Service") on Discord, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to all of these terms, do not use the Service.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with an updated date. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age (or the minimum age required by law in your jurisdiction) to use the Service. If you are under 18 years of age, you represent and warrant that you have obtained the consent of a parent or legal guardian to use the Service and to agree to these Terms.

3. Description of Service

Sentinel is an AI-driven personality bot for Discord communities. It generates conversational replies, reacts to messages and images, sends optional direct messages to opted-in users, and offers paid VIP and credit features. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available".

4. Subscriptions, Credits & Billing

The Service offers a free tier with a daily interaction limit, a paid VIP subscription with a higher daily limit and additional features, and consumable credits that are spent automatically once a daily limit is reached. Specific limits and prices are shown on our Pricing page and may change.

• VIP is a recurring subscription that renews automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time and retain VIP benefits through the end of the paid period.
• Credits do not expire but have no cash value and are non-transferable.
• Payments are processed by Discord, which acts as our payment collection agent. We do not collect or store your payment card details.
• Refunds are governed by Discord's refund policy and handled through Discord.

5. User Conduct

You are responsible for how you interact with the Service. You agree not to use it for any illegal or unauthorized purpose, and to comply with the rules of the Discord servers where Sentinel operates.

• Do not use the Service to harass, threaten, or harm others, or to generate content that violates applicable law.
• Do not attempt to exploit, reverse engineer, overload, or circumvent the Service's limits, safety filters, or security.
• Do not attempt to make the Service produce content that violates the policies of our AI providers or Discord.
• You agree to comply with Discord's Terms of Service and Developer Policy.

6. Entertainment Disclaimer

Sentinel is an entertainment product with a deliberately provocative, comedic, in-character personality. It "roasts," teases, and reacts for fun. Its output is generated by AI, is fictional and in-character, and does not represent the views of Flashwing Media LLC, its operators, or any community where it runs.

AI output may be inaccurate, inappropriate, or offensive. It is not advice of any kind (legal, financial, medical, or otherwise). Do not rely on it. If you find specific output objectionable, you can opt out of direct messages and contact us; server operators can also disable features.

7. Intellectual Property

The Sentinel name, branding, software, and the design of this website are owned by Flashwing Media LLC and protected by applicable law. You may not copy, resell, or reuse them without express written permission.

We claim no ownership over the messages and content you submit through Discord. You grant us a limited license to process that content solely to operate and improve the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Flashwing Media LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, including loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:

1. your use of, or inability to use, the Service;
2. any content generated by the Service, including AI output;
3. unauthorized access to or alteration of your data; or
4. the conduct of any third party on the Service.

Liability Cap. Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the total amount you paid to us for the Service in the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the claim.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for gross negligence, willful misconduct, or any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law.

9. Indemnification

To the maximum extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Flashwing Media LLC, its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to:

1. Your use of, or inability to use, the Service;
2. Any content you submit, generate, or share through the Service;
3. Your violation of these Terms or any applicable law or regulation; or
4. Your violation of any third-party rights, including the rights of other Discord users or server administrators.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that violates these Terms or that we believe is harmful to other users, the Service, or third parties.

You may stop using the Service at any time and cancel any VIP subscription through the platform where you purchased it. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will continue to apply.

11. Governing Law
